exactly what it says on the tin, the laziest of sunday doodles-Concept art for a new NextGen, Rosemary. She's the daughter of Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps. Her name was originally Snowflake, but it was changed to better serve her personality/special talent. Soft-spoken and kind, yet kind of an airhead, Rosie is a fitness instructor and massive health advocate. She likes brewing holistic medicine(that may or may not be effective), creating healthy juice blends (that her friends hate, but drink politely), and teaching yoga, meditation, and positivity to others, especially foals. She is sweet and incredibly optimistic, generally oblivious to the negativity of others.
She and Aerostorm are like super BFFs and share their dream diaries and swap hoofwoven daisy chains and meditate at sunrise. She's also really close to Peachy Keen, the daughter of Big Mac and Cheerilee, and Magnolia, the daughter of Applejack and Rarity. Not sure about her color scheme (feel free to suggest alternatives), but that 80's farrah fawcett hair and those legwarmers ain't goin' no where
-Bruce and Aerostorm again, sharknado shipping. I wanted to make scads of drawings of these two but I dunno, the art-making part of my brain was derping hard. So just this little doodle. Seriously, Aerostorm, get a haircut.

Really like Rosemary, totally fits to her cutiemark (it should have been a pink rose or something that fit to her name...), but really love her. :-D
I really like her color, but I suggest her coat could be a bit lighter like vanilla yellow or white... And her mane is is fine, but a bit more pink or red or whatever, but totally fine and also the eyes. Can't imagine if she have Bulk's eyecolor. XD
And you never mention how Rosie's friendship/relationship to Pandora and Cupcake perhaps.
Oh and I was also happy that Cuppy was a child of Pinkie Pie, even it came as a surprise, but really made my day! Really glad Panny and Cuppy was friends!Β Β

Hm, Rosemary looks pretty good as she is now, but as far as colors go how about subduing her yellow coat to a paler tone and maybe making her hair blonde instead of pink? (Unless you wanna keep the pink, then that's cool too

Plus I'm kinda shippin Aero and Cupcake now... And they have a kid with Pinky's energy and Dash's competitiveness. Maybe a cheerleader?? That would be awkward for Cupcake XD

Not trying to be rude, but...
You took the eye shape, the colors, everything.
That's not how genetics work.
Maybe do a cream color for the coat and a dark brown color for the hair.
Also, pony manes only go one way.

Please don't feel mobbed by my dissenting watchers. You have every right to voice an opinion (politely) and I do agree with most of your criticisms. However, I've found there are a number of canon ponies that break that "one way mane" rule, including Photo Finish and Cheese Sandwich. So I'm not too concerned about observing that "rule".

Ah, I forgot about them. I just think that MLP ponies are basically completely different animals by now, and that keeping the one mane thing helps to make them a bit more pony. It's fine though to have it more human-like. All Hasbro has to do now is come up with a new name for their "ponies"...

The colors are just slightly different shades. Genetics don't work like that at all. Does Twilight, for example, look just like her parents? She resembles them, sure, but doesn't look just like them. The eye shape is then slightly tweaked. Like, that's it. Looks just like Fluttershy's eyes. Like, the only thing different from Fluttershy I see here is the mane.

I honestly doubt you look exactly like your mother. I know of no one who looks exactly like their parent. You may look like her, but there has to be differences. In fact, you physically can't look just like your parent. Are your face shapes the same? Eye placement? Yeah, those things aren't important, but if you put them into consideration then you don't look just like your mom.
And it matters because an OC should be original, and I get kinda mad when someone rips off a canon character, next gen or not.

Nobody/pony is an "exact replica" of their parents. There has to be differences somewhere, which quite frankly I'm not seeing.
Also, pony manes do work like the way I said. A pony with it's mane on both sides could have health issues.

I said nearly. Just like Rosemary is NEARLY a replica. Their coats are slightly different shades, same goes for the mane, the mane style is WAY different, and her eyes are a different color and slightly different shape

btw, the mane and leg warmers look awesome, even if its not by the shows design. And you've already stated that you draw differently than Hasbro, so they can get over it.

Ah, I see. Yes, the ponies in the show do tend to follow real horse manes, sort of, but we must also remember we are dealing with magic talking ponies, so it is forgivable to stray away from the standard pony design, sometimes.

Its a cartoon hun, and everybody has there own styles. Y'all just gotta accept that and move along. While it may not be the way you or Hasbro draws it, its the way she draws it, and that makes her different which is good <3

I think that her hair should be a mix of blonde and pink and her coat should be a little lighter, close to white, but still yellow. I do love this design though.
