PB is optimistic but would eventually get fed up with chakra's selfish asshattery and read him the riot act. Chakra honestly never expected PB to actually stand up for himself, and he finds himself cowed into submission (among other feelings stirred up by PB being so unexpectedly strong and authoritative, holy shit)
