Artist's note
Made this artwork back in April last year, after visiting Slovenia. Spent a few days at the Bohinj region and it gave the inspiration to this piece.

About the Journal
The Journal is the main subsection of The Universe Project, created and developed by the Hungarian artist, Lorant Toth. The Journal roots back to Lorant's earlier hobby project, The Divided Soul, which was a collection of his fantasy artworks that initially gained exposure and publicity on 9gag back in 2018. The Journal is a story-oriented project that contains standolone artworks as well as connecting artworks that form an individual storyline. The Universe is a multi-language project (available in both English and Hungarian), and the other main section besides the Journal is the Universe Blog , where you can read about the painting process behind most paintings, and learn more about the goals and unique features of the project.

We also have a Discord server where you can hang out with the creator and the contributors, start discussions in art related- or everyday topics, showcase your creative works, and ask for critiques.
