Wonder Woman bit off more than she could chew this time.

It's a familiar scene, with her bursting in to stop the villain once again. And as has often happened, she is captured by the villainess who has her at her mercy. She ties her to a rocket with adamantine bands capable of holding her in place. He then hypnotizes her into submission.

All Wonder Woman can do now is wait for Steve Trevor to save her.

Unfortunately, she made it clear to Steve Trevor that she is a strong, independent woman last time. One who doesn't need a man. So he took a long-term mission somewhere.
Consequently, her love interest was not around to save her. Pretty soon, Wonder Woman has been launched out of orbit.

Seeing as she's headed straight for a wormhole in the vacuum of space, a last-second rescue is seeming like an increasingly long shot...
