Description
Is someone mixing holy water in my coffee?

Inspired by the "Ave Maria" by "In Extremo". The singer has a voice I'd describe as a "chain-saw"-voice but I somehow like it. I discovered the band and the song just recently but it made it to my current favourites.
I've seen countless versions of this particular scene already and I put all the typical ingredients into my picture:
-1 Virgin Mary
-1 Angel Gabriel
-1 White Lily
-1 Book
-Some furniture and a landscape in the background

I also added two uncommon "spices":
-1 pregnancy test (the thing on the floor between Gabriel's pants and the column
-1 snake (I think snakes are cool animals, it was easy to draw and it makes no sense in this scene)

I put lots of work into the colouring, trying to work with layers and such in order to compensate my lack of skill with details. It worked out as I hoped it would but it the quality of the finished picture always depends on the quality of the drawing.
