Let’s go and revive an extinct race!

Well, not all of it, that would take a lot of work and this is just a little assignment. You see, I was sent to this little world, Leviria I think, in order to fetch a specimen and take it to a different world, but then turns out they went all extinct. So now, I’m going to recreate the conditions that made their existence possible in the first place, a little bit of a scientific experiment, if you will.

Thus, our first step is to find the right people. I find a lake, a lake like many others, this world is kind of generic in terms of geography, or maybe I think that because I have seen many. In any case, this little lake is located next to a village where humans inhabit. I didn’t really plan for this too much, I am a servant of chaos, not a spy, I’m simply influencing mortals.

As I wander around the village and look around the faces of its people and the smells of their foods, I notice a guy walking towards the lake from before. Looks like he’s well liked among the people here… Yup, he’ll do.

Anyway, the man gets far enough from others for me to approach him without dragging too much attention. A bit of a walkby, a boop with my tail and… it’s done! Now I just have to sit nearby and wait for it all to unfold. There’s an abandoned cottage in a nearby forest, might as well use that.

Now, let us hear the story of my little test subjects.
