Description Tris and Four from "Divergent" by Veronica Roth.

My tablet is still acting up so the only thing i could really do to fix Tris' hair was use the clone tool - since my scanner is crappy and it looked like her hair was almost non-existent orz.

These books are amazing ok. if you liked the hunger games you will love these, they have the same kind of dystopian/revolution type feel to them but the idea behind Divergent is so unique and GAH i love them, i'll definitely be drawing more from them OvO

But yus, this is Tris and Four, the main characters. The descriptions in the books are so detailed so i tried to get each of them in like Tris' long nose and big eyes, and Four's deep set eyes and spare upper lip with fuller lower lip etc etc. Though i may have got Four's tattoo wrong, i thought at one point he had one on his neck but i'm pretty sure now it's on his back.

Seriously these books are amazing, i stupendously highly recommend them especially if you liked the hunger games so GO READ THEM

hopefully i'll get my tablet working and get a scanner up here so i can upload more traditional stuff too but in the mean time, hope you like these and i'll try and get my other scanned sketches up as well

it depends on what you're wanting to do with the picture - if it's just reposting it somewhere then i don't mind at all so long as it's credited like you said! otherwise i'm not sure, you'd need to describe what you mean ^^'
also if you do use it, could you send me a link to the page? just because i like seeing where stuff goes and i'd also really like to find good divergent fan sites

thank you very much!! yes i definitely aim to at some point! i'd love to do a massive set of drawings for each book i've read of all the characters so i'll hopefully get around to that soon

I preferred Divergent to Insurgent though. How about you?

hmm...i'm not too sure actually. I like them both for different reasons i think, but i think i maybe agree with you, Divergent set the scene and introduced all the factions and things so well, and it was
better paced i think. Like Insurgent was amazing, but i literally couldn't put Divergent down. how about you? why do you prefer Divergent?

hi thanks for replying, i hid your comment just to stop anyone getting anything spoiled (i'm just being really picky though, the only thing you really said was Four's name lol)
but i totally agree actually. I thought Divergent was better paced, and balanced more with the romance and the actual plot advancement, whereas Insurgent - not so much xD it was still amazing though but i did think some of the romance scenes had no kind of point to them other than just because xD
And YEAH OMG THE ENDING! loved it! can't WAIT for the next one OvO
ah yeah i hear you, i hate wasting time on books that turn out to be rubbish ¬_¬ and LOL YES i agree, must end explosively OvO
actually if you need more books to read, i suggest you read "blood red road" by moira young if you haven't already I got into insurgent and BRR because they were highly recommended to any HG fans and they didn't disappoint. also if you liked Divergent i'm sure you'd like BRR, it's also Dystopian, well paced AND there's the best male character ever to swoon over, but it's more adventure with lots of travelling and it may take time getting used to the writing style since it's written deliberately incorrectly (like bad grammar and slang etc, but seriously you get used to it and it's worth it OvO)
just in case you need a new book i highly recommend that

And I'll check into that! I'm going to read Match right now... have you read that book yet? Also, if I may have a suggestion, I suggest Legend by Marie Lu; it's AWESOME, and the two MC's are kick-butt! It's also a Dystopian. I really suggest reading it-- I totally thought it would be meh, okay. But when I started reading... God, I was hooked! Just... you HAVE to read it! It's amazing!

YES YOU SO SHOULD!! i know i keep saying this but if you liked the hunger games then you will love these, and even if you don't like the hunger games you will probably still love these, they're fantastic!.
