DESCRIPTION
Yanay has lived all of his life in the Nook, ever since he hatched. He is somewhat shy and doesn't really understand how to socialize, but he seems to show a strong attachment to Alma as a mother figure. A lot of his comments when he does speak may at first come off as rude or uncaring, and for this some have labeled him as a bully, which he is aware of and tries not to care about, further hardening his shell and his penchant for social awkwardness.
Yanay seems to have a natural talent for a lot of things, but when it comes to organized learning and learning in groups, he's one of the first to flunk out. The only thing he seems to truly pursue and excel at is astrology, and one can often find him in the garden on nights after Alma has put everyone else to bed, gazing at the stars. He gets very annoyed easily at real bullies, and will defend other wynglings from them if a situation looks to be getting bad, but he isn't the type to stay and make sure the victim is okay emotionally, and he is far too stubborn to admit defeat unless he's to the point where he can no longer hold himself up and then some.
He probably has very few gros he considers friends if any, but once you're his friend he will stand by your side till the end of him if given the chance. He typically doesn't talk much even around friends, but enjoys relaxed hangouts where they just chill together and do their own thing in silence.
