ONE. of cricket's projects. their lune insists on them celebrating prismatic promenade together, which includes "being nice to your siblings," so cricket GUESSES ratte can have one of these strange little creatures that she's been fixing up. (due to the sheer number of them which she's come across she's convinced they are mechanical beings similar to vessels which are intended to move in herds. she just can't get them to that point of working, but this one is probably as good as it's going to get and it keeps waking her up in the middle of the night with wordless robotic screeching from the other side of the room but she feels like that's exactly something ratte would appreciate.)

she is being nice for lulune's sake and ignoring the cain instinct because it is the least she can do for the folk that has worked so hard to raise the two of them.
