Description
One day I was reading the all yesterday's page about sexual oddities of dinosaurs so something came to my mind: how did mosasaurs riproduced? Cause, of you think about it in almosy every paleo-documentary featuring a mosasaur we see it giving birth to its young, but noone showed the actual mating process that is required to make that baby, so I came up with this very idea: considering all the main aspects of mosasaurs like size, morfology and ecological niche of big ocean surface predator It reminded me of a killer whale, and despite the fact that mosasaurs weren't social creatures at all, and certianly weren't living in pods like modern day orcas I found a cetacean like mating display pretty plausoble for this ancoent marine reptile.Maybe someone wouldn't be in line with this idea but let me know in the comments in case.
See ya
