Jane is the youngest of the Bird Girls and faithful, very faithful in fact, girlfriend of Victoria. She is fun to be with, easygoing and above all kind and loving.

Jane was brought up in a relatively rich family and had a good upbringing. She is well educated and intelligent. She loves reading, going out (especially with Victoria) to museums, exhibitions and loves shopping (although she doesn't like spending money). As a result of her spending habits Jane does not have the huge wardrobe of her girlfriend Victoria but what she lacks in clothes she makes up in that superb imagination of hers.

She is great friends with all of the Bird Girls, but particularly Jenny and Melissa (and of course Victoria). Jane, Melissa and Jenny make a formidable and well organised team. If the larger Bird Girls get out of hand i.e. Victoria, Celine and Sarah, the smaller girls just seems to have the skill to put them back in their place and this is despite the fact that Victoria is a complete genius and Celine not far off. Perhaps the larger girls lacked the friendship and organisation to be an effective unit... who knows.

Jane met Victoria in a casino she was working in. Victoria was card counting, earning a lot of money and Jane warned her that she was being watched. After quickly cashing her winnings Jane followed Victoria and got her phone number. Initially Victoria was suspicious that the casino had sent her to spy but she realised quickly that this was ridiculous. Victoria liked the good looking casino girl so much that the rest is history. They have been loyal, and I mean loyal, partners ever since. Jane loves Victoria's genius and beauty whilst Victoria just loves Jane's playful nature and... well everything else.

Jane is not particularly athletic and physically she is quite lazy but she does like watching sports.

As said earlier Jane is very kind and loving and took care of Victoria when she was very ill once (another story). Victoria never forgot this and this cemented their great friendship even further (if that were even possible).

Needless to say Jane loves all the silly slapstick humour here. She likes nothing more than placing a custard pie in someone's face (especially Victoria) but, she loves being on the receiving side too.
