Description
Taken of a boat and its reflection in a canal in Amserdam one hour before sunset.I wanted to only leave a dash of the boat in as a hint of reality.

nice and simple yet still provokes interest visually - lots of nice colors off the boat and detail and the reflection play and movement of the ripples lends itself greatly to your concept

Very nicely done. Love the way the water distorts the reflection of the boat, shattering all those brilliant colours and mixing them with the warm glow of the sunset. The colours are just stunning.

I love the distortions the water makes, as well as that nice contrast between the colour of the boat, and the tarp that is covering it.... Pity it wasn't facing you front on, as I don't really like the motor there... but oh well... Very pretty

The ripples look like oil, and the reflection in it looks more like a painting. You acheived the abstract feel quite well. I really like what you did with the boat. Not focusting on the would-be subject, but what it affects. Like not seeing a person by what they look like but what they have affected, what they have rippled, you might say. The light over the whole thing is really stunning.
