Once a year, Amikitsik prowls through the Lunar Aegis lands, looking for her tithing. Before the sunsets, tokotas and handlers gather together and share a grand meal; they leave a spot at the table empty for the deity. Everyone fills her plate to overflowing, so if she appears, they might be left alone. After nightfall, when everyone goes inside to warm up by the fire and share stories, they leave Amikitsik's plate outside. By the morning, it's always empty.
