I was sleeping. Mom and DeAnne were talking and I was thinking, why does no one have any respect for people who are sleeping? So I got up and it wasn't until I looked at my mother that I remembered that she was dead. Yet there she was, getting ready to go somewhere and happy as a clam. Much happier than I remember, like the weight of her worldly hurt was gone. And my sister just standing there chatting with her like nothing was up.

There was a large TV screen on one wall that showed things like the weather or other applications. Mom was trying to get the weather for where she was going. It had a touch screen and she was trying to move around the states. That didn't work so she took apart the screen like a puzzle of the states and got it the way she wanted.
