I have one which I actually used to use almost all the time (still do now and again; I'm just a bit more cautious about it now, after it needed to be fixed once). It's not an antique, but it is a genuine pocket watch which needs to be wound, not battery operated.

They can sometimes be less costly than many modern wristwatches, so it won't take you long to save for one, I don't think.

LOL! i literally freak out and will have to leave a room or take the batteries out of a wall clock because of the ticking BUT the ironic thing about this is that I am an extremely time compulsive person! I have to know what time it is at all times. I have left the house without a watch before and went and buy one while I was out. I have at least two clocks in each room. I have two alarm clocks with the green LED on both nightstands, so when I turn over - I see the time on either side. The older I get, the worse it gets. I think it all started when I was at work and hated my job, I would watch the time for when it would be time to leave. CRAZYiness!
