At least, He had the decency to give Her a helpful suggestion, and, He was POLITE while doing it, No slapping Her cross the lips, and, kicking Her when She went down, etc! Too bad SOME people don't do parodies, cuz, I'd like to see some of Charlie Brown, and, Peanuts!

They have done parodies (SNL, MadTV, [adult swim], FOX, and Comedy Central), but most of those parodies are violent insults to the Shulz canon (ex: Lucy getting horrifically maimed, Linus being killed by The Great Pumpkin and Sally burying herself alive so she could forever be with the boy she loves, Schroeder ending up as an un-feeling prude, Woodstock being eaten by a rabid Snoopy whom Charlie Brown has to put down, Charlie Brown himself becoming a suicidal and homicidal maniac over the supposed rejection by Heather [the oft-mentioned but rarely seen Little Red Haired Girl], Marcie converting Peppermint Patty to lesbianism [that last one is somewhat canonical, seeing as Marie was based on Billy Jean King, who did come out later on in life], et al).
Seriously, as bitchy as she acts on the outside, Lucy does--in some way--care for her friends and they do the same for her, seeing as they not only put up witb her, but besides Lucy being based on Charles Shulz's first wife, Schroeder himself was the reason why Lucy became fascinated with him after she quit being around Charlie Brown, since the piano-playing prodigy initially called her cute in their first meeting in the comic strip, not unlike Linus mentioning to Charlie Brown if Sally would be interested in marrying him once they grew up, which lead into Sally dubbing him her "Sweet Babboo").

Actually, I was KIDDING, LostonWallace! I would not actually suggest, condone, OR, use a gun, on anyone, except in dire circumstances, ie, Self Defense,defending someone else, Mental Illness(In My case)etcetera. And, If this were done in front of ME, I'd be horrified! I agree with many of Your comments, on other parodies on the Peanuts Crew! If it makes You wince, or, recoil, it's usually a tough call as to whether it's humor, or NOT! The usual deciding factor is, in My case, did anyone actually get hurt. I have seen people slip and, fall on the ice! After helping them to their feet, and, after seeing them safely on their way, I can't help it, usually, but to laugh out loudly, but discretely! It in part relief, I suppose. That, and, the Imp of the Perverse!

That's the ID side of you taking over, as the ID is the side of people that causes them to delight in the perverse and wicked. As for me, I have mine under close wraps, because I generally do NOT find dark humor--called toilet humor or defined as blue humor or black humor--funny. I find it somewhat tasteless and classless to be honest, yet we have KIDS watching that tripe on TV (MadTV, SNL, Regular Show, MAD, Robot Chicken, et al)!

The thing is, kids aren't ready to view that stuff as much as they want to, because they can be influenced by it. Of course, adults can be influenced too, but kids are easier to persuade it seems.
That's why we have cases where kids are being stupid because they see it on TV.
