Description Just a preview render of some weird vehicle concept I needed to get out of my head (and into LW). There will be fire coming from the side rockets, and a vector motion blur on the propeller… in the fully surfaced version. I think I might use it in a wall.

Yes, LightWave.

I can't really say if it's easy to use or not... because that totally depends on who's using it, but compared to programs like 4D and Max.. the LW interface is pretty nasty - so that might be a factor.

Thanks maybe I will stick to the easier programs for now. Keep doing those amazing 3d stuff.

PS have you heard of a 3d printer... if not its something that can print sculptures by printing left and right as well as up and down (if that makes sense), I believe that there is only one in the world. Just thought my might be interested in knowing that.

I believe there is more than one 3D printer in the world as the college in my town has one. One type is a stereolythography machine that 'prints' your 3D designs out of some polymer.

o okay, I would like to get my hands on one of them. Well I hope you get to use it one day. it sounds like an exciting new invention or something like that.

yes, they are very interesting unfortunately I havent had the chance to use one, but designs can be somewhat expensive to 'print' in my experience, usually the taller the design the more it will cost to produce.

Heres a small description on stereolithography:

and another (pretty lame one for kiddies hehe)

Thank you for the sites, they are very interesting. Lets hope that they will become more available to the public in the not to distant future.
