Hey, look at that! I wasn't sure I had enough content to drop a new sketchdump xD But lo and behold! I did and this for a few months already xDD Here I am with episode 2 of "A Dive in Hallownest"!
In today's episode,
I worked for a while with the Hive residents, especially Vespa and the Hive Knight I named Mellior. My objective was to bee-ify Vespa as much as possible because I felt she was way too much like a wasp in the original design. I struggled a little with Mellior, because his original design is just *'°perfect*'° but I think I got it right in the end..
I went on for Cornifer and Iselda, granting them an extra picture, because cuteness x) I gave Iselda "clothes" too by adding her elytra back.
Hornet, my beloved! I managed to find a design that worked for me and would show her hybridness. And then I added the Weaverlings because they're too cute to pass by.
Here for Cloth and the cicada spirit, I studied a little cicadas so I'd understand better their specificities. And added a freshly molted Cloth, being all white and yellow with bright red eyes. (hints at my AUs plans?)
And the Grimm's family crashes for the party! I had a lot of fun with the Troupemaster, he's super satisfying to draw!
Ze'mer the grey mourner.. I really like her <3 I decided to stop worrying about insect anatomy mimicking clothes and started added clothes to designs, especially on characters like Ze'mer, who are said to be Hallownest's outsiders.
Brumm is really cool to work with, I'm loving this big boi with so much floof! And meet one of my first vessel characters, Angry. They were taken in by the Grimm Troupe and stayed with them, growing quite attached to their chosen parents. Brumm is their favorite dad, and Grimm is the cool dad they try to impress. Divine is the scary mom they kinda avoid, but still love and leave gifts for her by her tent's entrance.
My proudest accomplishment of this batch, the stags. I had a good struggle trying to figure them out, but now I really love them >w< So I made the old stag from the kindgom's stagways first and then the hinted young stag, who's technically an OC of mine, now. He travels outside the kingdom's lands with a jumping spider named Mora, and a small vessel they found wandering, who they named Tai.

Soo, I'll be continuing drawing official characters and most likely more OCs eventually, hope you enjoy my designs for now ^^ and perhaps stories will follow <3
