My entry for the Tree of Life Wallpaper Contest hosted by EllysiumnI wanted to create a REALLY big tree so it turned into my version of a discworld. I enjoyed working on this a lot, painting all these little details was almost meditative and I pondered about a world with mountains and beaches instead of the crazy things that happen in our real world.

It's no fun to find it when you *tell us* it's there. And its so small, that maybe it is a dragon mouse
But on a more serious note, I love the way the tree's foliage blends into the stars, like a nebula. And the discworld-esque element is very well done. Glad you don't make the turtle suffer with spiky hot lava rocks...
