"Chesh stared up at the blood red sky then back to the blood soaked ground. The sword in her hand dropped with a loud clang where it struck a stray peice of armor.
'Chesh, we have to go.' Ash's voice shook her from her trance.
'It was a sunrise like this, the day i met you.' Chesh sighed, 'That day too, was bathed in blood, well at least for me. I died, Vladimere died.' she shook her head, 'Now, he's dead too.' she looked down at the pile of ash where her father had been standing not five minutes before, 'Is it finally over? Am i finally free from this curse?' she asked absently looking at her pale hand.
'This curse, you will never be free of, but you are free from his chains. We have each other, thats all we need. So in a way, yes it's over.'"

this is a picture my mother took at our new house. it was perfect for the ending scene of the novel i am working on so i thought i'd give yall a taste of the plot i am working on. hope you like it
