So the end of Avatar left such a large impact on me, I simply HAD to do fanart of my favorite fight in the finale. Zuko vs Azula, of course! Seriously, during their fight I was nearly in tears the whole time. Also, yes, I know I know, I'm late to the Avatar scene. Also, I just had to draw Azula when she started to loose it. Just... every aspect of the finale was incredible, and I really felt I had to put my feeling of its awesomeness on paper.This was my first attempt at an action scene... probably ever. And I looked all over for a ton of references for fire bending styles and the clothes they wore during the finale. Alot of work!
I probably got some things wrong, but I tried my best. XD Also, the fire doesn't look all that great, but... I fail at fire, sorry guys.Avatar belongs to all the awesome people who made the show. Thank you for being awesome guys.

aw thank you! XD Yeah it made sense with her character too, she was always pretty unhinged, but.... after her friends 'betrayed' her, I think thats when she really lost it.

Man if only it was. XD Yeah I definitely wanted to draw her at the end of the finale (Just because she was SO EFFIN AWESOME) so I made sure to get her hair down right. At first it was going to be put up in the picture... but I like it this way better.

and this was my favorite fight scene of the finale as well :3 actually, aangs fight didnt seem quite as epic compared to this one. i didnt care for that fight at all.

Yeah... I didnt care about Ozai's fight. I also think a big part of that is Ozai never really became an established character till the end.

that didnt help, and the fact that aang just kind of threw a temper tantrum wasnt much better. and the cop out lion turtle thing. sudenly aang knows eeeeeverything!
all the zuko and azula parts were amazing. the aang parts? not so much. i still
