I recently had to put my dog to sleep. I miss her a lot. Once she peed on the floor while making eye-contact with me, which was the worst thing at the time but its funny as hell now.
She wasn't a nice dog to other dogs, but she was a good dog. If you didn't pet her enough, she'd nudge your hand aggressively and grunt at you. She never liked hugs or kisses; she once bit my chin for giving her a kiss on the head. All in all, she was a superb little lass.
I have another dog, a younger lad that she never liked too much but would protect him, but it's strange without her. The house is very quiet. I'm just glad she isn't in pain anymore.
