I drew this on a whim, starting with happy, sad, angry, and scared, which were the only emotions I could come up with. Then I came up with the idea of using the essential expressions meme to help. So I gave this little challenge to myself, don't change the eyes at all. See, I was thinkin', why do people say eyes are the window to the soul? Not really. Eyelids and eyebrows and mouths and noses are the windows to the soul. Well yeah you could roll your eyes to show you were bored or something. But they don't really do anything else. Your eyelids narrow in suspicion, your eyebrows shoot up in suprise, your nose sniffs in disdain, your mouth smiles in content. Pretty much the same in cartoons, except their eyes can pop out of their heads when they choose. Which is awesome. So I just started drawing the eyes and added the mouth and eyebrows. I don't really have a wide range of noses...Well, copy and paste, copy and paste, the eyes stay the same for every emotion here. Some of them, I admit, would have been alot easier if I closed the eyes or moved the pupils or something, so they'll probably look really repetetive. And the 'triumph' was so hard to do...I just had him/her be happy and added my telling-instead-of-showing text bubble. It says, 'Hey look I won!'
