An "anomaly" spreads across the Earth and resurrects every extinct animal that ever lived, causing chaos to envelope the world and civilization to crumble. For the people now surviving in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with once extinct animals, including the dinosaurs, they face a dangerous world where fellow survivors can be just as dangerous as the once extinct animals are. Nick Edwards is one of human unprepared people who find themselves thrown into this new unpredictable world and he must find a way to survive in it. Throughout he encounters dangerous raptors, hungry giant prehistoric snakes, and hostile fellow human survivors. All the while, his most loyal friend and companion is a large dinosaur he raised from an egg, a Spinosaurus.
