This is the Work in Progress version of Lady Ice, which includes the entire rough animation with a bit of colored scenes.
It was a personal project that started as my final project for the Animation program at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Israel and after graduating I kept working on it to finish it alone. Working on and off (weekends, holidays, etc) it took me about 5 and a half years to complete. This was a combined project of Liron Peer (Me, and I'm a woman btw!) and another guy, who dropped the project at an early stage and therefore all you see here was mostly done by me alone (I did the entire animation in the film).
WIP Original Score by Assaf Rinde (Score of final version was composed by a different composer). And no, I do NOT work for Disney or any other large company (I'm a freelancer). I've already tried to apply to Disney via many ways, but they simply didn't want me or didn't have a position to offer me, and life went on.

Well, nothing much to say. You have Disney in you username and Lady Ice proves it is deserved.
The story, as well as both pencil and final animation is really great.
Years of making this movie doesn't seem to be wasted, especially if your goal is to work for Disney.
Anyway, you don't recommend Bezalel Academy for Erasmus exchange course?

Em... since an exchange course means you will only take on one year of school (or am I mistaken, I'm not sure) I don't think you can benefit a lot from the whole 4 years program. But if you are really serious about it I can find out some details for you.

That was a real good animation there. I think I understood the story well enough, for the most part anyways. I wouldn't even mind seeing this as a real disney film, and in ways the people in it reminds me of the characters in Pocahontas.

Well unfortunatly I can't just give you the application as I'd have to make an account. Seeing as I'm definantly no proper animator, it wouldn't be right if I did :/ Not meaning to be lazy or anything but just yeah.

Incredible work already and the accompanying soundtrack is superb.
The only thing I might recommend changing slightly is the text/ font you use for the title "Lady Ice" it doesn't really sum up the character or film and seems somewhat ambiguous and potentially generic.

Just one question:this project wasn't finished by the time you finished your studies at Bezalel, right? so, did you submit it anyway? did they grade it, or it doesn't work that way?

My original part on the movie was to do the animation, and I finished it on time. So the movie was not colored and edited, but they graded me and I got the diploma. Well, it's a long story, but that's how it was in general.

The movie was presented as a WIP so it was hard to comment on it. It's really a long story that I put behind me.
If you really thinking about going to bezalel you can give me a call and I will tell you all about it (there are a lot of details and I'm not going to write a story here). But I finished 3 years ago, so things HAVE changed there.
Still I will help you as much as I can so if you want to send me a mail and I will send you my phone number and you can call me anytime (even on yom kipur if you want to, I'll be feasting and watching TV anyway... he he..)

Very beautiful animation, much like a Disney film. It somehow reminds me of Brother Bear and Pocahontas. The story's a bit sad though.
