gene Ragged side - this gene is a piebald, similar to Frame Overo.
nRs - large areas of color, without small spots:
The main zones of manifestation of piebald (minimum) - elbow, chest --> belly --> groin, stifle --> gaskin, back --> croup.
1) minimum - continuous color.
2) maximum - the color can be interrupted and form several large color spots, piebald on the withers.
RsRs - variously sized areas of color, congestion of spots:
The main areas of manifestation of piebald (minimum) - elbow --> forearm, chest --> belly --> groin, withers --> croup, groats --> coronet.
1) minimum - color continuous, medium size, with a scattering of small spots on the croup.
2.1) medium - continuous color, small size, with a scattering of large spots from the shoulder blade to the thigh.
2.2) medium - continuous color, small size, with a scattering of large spots from the shoulder blade to the flank; piebald on the head, throat, wrist --> pastern.
3) maximum - color only on the ears, without spots.
Features of the gene:
1. markings on the head may appear only in individuals with an average or maximum manifestation of piebald.
2. there is no effect from the breed gene Section (sharp edges / edging peogosti can not be).
3. It can be combined with other piebald (Sabino, Tobiano, Splashed white) and Leopard complex.
4. Block the piebald Frame Overo, i.e. the Frame Overo does not manifest itself in the phenotype, but it can be is inherited in the genotype.

2) maximum - the color may be slightly interrupted, but not completely, much more than the minimal version.
SsSs - are small areas of color, form clusters of spots:
The main zones of manifestation of color (minimum) - ears, pastern --> coronet, flank.
The main zones of manifestation of piebald (minimum) - head, neck, shoulder, chest --> belly --> groin, elbow -> pastern, withers -> croup, croup -> coronet.
1) minimum - the color is interrupted, forming different areas around the "main" color spot, there may be a small accumulation of spots on the back of the gaskin.
2) maximum - the color forms a small accumulation of spots on the flank and slightly in the area around the "main" color spot.
Features of the gene:
1. markings on the head are present in all individuals.
2. there is no effect from the breed gene Section (sharp edges / edging peogosti can not be).
