My June Challenge at Evelyn Wood's Vintage Sewing School.
My June challenge was: to get my vintage sewing machine working and try to do a rolled hem on a fichu project.
- I did make it work
- I did try to lean the rolled hem, not THAT successful, but it's progress
- I decided I didn't like the tight look of a machine sewn rolled hem + I was affraid it'd get scratchy around my neck - I learned to do a rolled hem by hand and finished the project with this method instead!
