Great angle and use of lighting. I love the way the dragon divides the painting diagonally. The shadows are masterfully done.

Incredible lighting, unusual angle and amazing use of form and detailing, as always. Your paintings all give me a Renaissance feel... I'm a sucker for detail, and holy God those brick textures are amazing. Down to the subtlest little splatter technique... red, moldy-looking green, the cracks in the brick--everything! It shows a lot of patience and skill, which is just as amazing as the painting itself. I've only used oil twice, and it's a frustrating medium... but your fantasy work convinces me that it's worth using more! Very inspiring.
