Origin
The Red Sector is an enormous benevolent movement comprised of two main organisations legally independent from each other but with the same goals and objectives, dedicated to maintaining the well-being and health of all sentient beings in the galaxy. It was funded during the Ravager Invasions , in 4741 A.E , and it was the second biggest human organization before the creation of the Northern Star Federation , the first being the Federation's father organization, the Human Union.
The Red Sector was funded by an ex-private of the Asirian army called Arthur Gallerian, who was heavily wounded and couldn't fight anymore. A son of a prestigious man within the Asirian senate, Gallerian enlisted to honor his family name. During the First Battle of Carthadia, he lost his leg during a Ravager skirmish when he was taken to a red sector. What compelled him to create the organization was the fact that the doctor who had to amputate his leg said he would have been able to save it if they were more organized and had better resources.
Once arriving back in Asiria, he used his family's wealth to fund the Red Sector, and called for volunteers from any and all human (or otherwise) worlds to help all worlds suffering with the Invasions.
Symbol and Importance
The Red Sector's symbol and name were based on medical areas that existed within human frontlines during the first years of the Ravager Invasions, known as red sectors. The four signs pointing to a center were the symbol commonly used to properly direct the wounded soldiers to these areas.
The Red Sector would remain an extremely influential organization even after Gallurian's death, being an independent organization dedicated to disaster and war relief for any and all suffering worlds. They played an unbelievably important role during the Rust Plague and the Federo-Etherian War , along many other disasters and conflicts.
