For a start, I like it. The variation of tones in the orange is great, from the white of its pimples on the right and the rich, reddy colour cast by the shoes. The laces, and the seperation of the laces with the lines, make these tones potent. And it's a good thing. I sort of wish the bottom half were not manipulated, as it's the texture of the wall and the hardness of the dark laces which make the top more appealing. But all the same.
