no wonder this one got a DD, simply great. i find it mostly diffucult to take pictures in direct sunlight with the shadows being so strong, but you have taken advantage of this nicely. the shadows pick out all the wrinkles and detail in the face giving the picture closeup feeling like from a wild west movie..

i think there is two reason why a portre can be good..if the model has a strong personality what we can see (certanly..yes like this photo), or the modell has some unique beauty inside her/him, or in her/him pose. i'm glad that this was a DD, coz it's deserved it, congrat
