Loosely inspired by NIN song Down In It... in little celebration of actually getting out of it, finally. You wouldn't believe how long it takes me to write these descriptions, I usually end up deleting half of the text anyway because people rarely read these anyway.

I've had loads of fun with this piece, mainly because I've been kinda jumping in and out of my comfort zone here. I'm by no means a PR0 when it comes to 3D fractals but I love blooms as much as the next fractal artist. So I ended up tweaking my older pieces (shown below), while trying to add more DOF. That's why this piece will probably feel familiar but I hope there will be something unheimlich to it as well. As usual, it took me about 20 tweak versions to make this one, and that's fairly little number for my output.
