Re: "I promise I won't mess around with this flame ever again." I know you are joking. Right? Your (Flower II) is one of my all time favorites. I would like to see some more variations on the "Splits-Eliptic".
Anyway, I had a chance to check out the tutorial and played around with it. I found the the tutorial a bit hard to follow.

Thank you. Well, I don't like to use over and over the same params, I want diversity in my gallery. I might make 100 glorious pictures of one params, that looks very similar but I prefer to move on and make different stuff.
