I stared at myself in the dressing room, amazed by the sight in front of me. I’d always been fond of sundresses, and this one in particular looked amazing on me. It was the tenth one I had tried on. In fact, I had been having more fun than I ever had trying on clothes. But out of compassion for Jose (I’d been a guy with a girlfriend once), I cut the dress up time short and picked a few clothes to buy.

Ripping off the tag on the sundress, I made my way out and spun in a circle for Jose, the ends of the sundress spinning about with me. Lisa barked in approval. Apparently when someone’s rich, dogs in the store aren’t an issue.

“Okay, we’ve got the clothes. Now what?” Jose asked.

“Hmm,” I contemplated, biting my lip. What does one do when they suddenly find themselves as the opposite gender?

“Here you go ma’am,” the cashier said, handing me a bag of clothes. “You’re sure lucky to have such a generous boyfriend.”

“Uh, no,” Jose and I protested. “We’re not, uh, we’re not a couple.”

“Oh,” the cashier sighed. “Sorry, you two looked so cute together, I just figured…”

“No, just friends, best friends,” Jose added. “Right Gre- I mean Sabrina?”

“Of course,” I replied. “I’m a lesbian after all.”

I blushed and grabbed Jose’s hand, hurrying out of the shop. The stupid truth stuff made me want to blurt out things that were no one’s business. And judging by the smirk on Jose’s face, I had revealed something that was better left hidden.

“So, you like the women?” Jose prodded, raising his eyebrows. “Dude. You should totally find some chick to make out with. You know, for science, see what it’s like to be a lesbian and all.”

“Yeah, for science,” I chortled. “Look, being a girl is already good enough, okay. Don’t make me-”

“Wait, good enough?” Jose asked as we got in his car. “Are you saying you’re actually enjoying this?”

“That is not not what I’m saying,” I replied, doing my best to not say the truth. Lisa leapt up into my lap for the car ride and stared out the window.

“Holy shit, you’re actually liking this?!” Jose shouted, pounding his fists against the dash of the car. “I mean, it’s cool man. If that’s what you really want and all. You going to make Lisa’s wish permanent then?”

“Probably,” I replied, a large blush spreading across every fiber of my skin. “I definitely won’t be making any of the other wishes permanent though. And I’m still waiting on my wish to come true by the way. Which means we need to party somehow.”

“I’ve got it,” Jose blurted out. He began to pull out of the parking spot. “Pool party at my place. I’ll see if Amy and Joe feel like coming and invite a few friends too. Trust me, things will get epic like you wanted.”

“Yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it,” I scoffed. I watched outside the window with Lisa, considering the situation I was in. I was showing more skin than I ever had before. Two large breasts protruded into my field of vision, and long brown hair fell over my eyes. I wasn’t a guy. Let’s try that again. I wasn’t a guy. Damn. Well, I didn’t know how to feel about everything happening, but I knew that I couldn’t wait for Lisa to be turned back to normal. It’s hard when you realize that you love someone on the day that they get turned into a dog. Of course, if I make her wish permanent - and I’m still not sure why she wished for me to be a woman, but apparently she knew me better than I knew myself - then I still have to find out if she feels the same way. Perhaps she was a lesbian and that’s why she made the wish. It made enough sense.
