I dunno, I don’t want to make assumptions and put them in a bad light but maybe because the real problems are too hard to fix so they try to distract people with something “new and shiny” so they won’t think about. I’m not sure.
(I don’t either, I usually watch it on YouTube and stuff like that. But god did I get emotional ;__; why must 2D characters make us feel things?)

I’m glad you got a laugh out of it but I just- I’m probably going to be genuinely triggered if they go down that route. I used to respect Slade as a villain until I found out what he did to Terra. That’s just sick. like, an actual assassin told Slade he was crossing a line. Wtf, DC?
