Description
The fourth season of Supergirl introduced color to television audiences. Producers were quick to take advantage of the new possibilities by introducing a variety of brightly-costumed friends and foes for the Girl of Steel.

Among the more popular was the introduction of Supergirl's long-lost sister, Shala, who arrived on Earth after her rocket was knocked off course and delayed by an asteroid. With powers matching those of her sister and a terrible temper, Shala struck terror in the criminal underworld of Metropolis. The character appeared in three episodes in season 4 and a return appearance in season 6.
