Riku hasn’t had a very particularly sad past. Grew up in a small town where hybrids were seen as equal to humans, he had a mom and dad and a little brother. His mom was a cock and his dad worked, like most men living there, as a fisherman. He was a bright but sickly child and the most he could do was learn at home and help out his mother with chores, that is how he gained a love for plants and was in charge of looking after the family garden. Bunny boy Riku and his younger brother Yuzuki lived a happy life even if a little on the poor side. When he was 12 a misterious epidemic hit the small town, most of the people would die within a few moth of contracting the disease.It all happend just after the fishermen return form their traveling. The all seem to have a fiverish like state and then slowly looks all mobility in thir body along with strange redish marks. Since the place was isolated on a island no one cared or knew what was happening in the town and more than 80 % of residents died within a year. Among the remaining survivors were Riku and his brother Yuzuki , the only kids left alive…but then Yuzuki got sick too and the desperate Riku tried to help him by learning how to use plants as medicine while he and the town doctor looked after the other sick people.
When the epidemic died down all the survivors abandoned the town that by now had more graves then people and the news finally spread throughout the world.
The orphaned bunny boys were taken in by the government and soon separated as a man adopted in Yuzuki while Riku was told he would be taken to the academy of Yuan.
Now a little bit lonely and nervous about this future Riku hopes that good things would happen to him and that he might eventually find his brother when his older.
