Até que em um dia, cruzou com os piratas da Big Mom e foi preso, ele viu de perto como era a ''igualdade'' mentirosa que Big Mom pregava em sua ilha, Geek havia perdido as esperanças até ver Jinbe e Luffy em um jornal, isso lhe deu esperanças de que um dia poderia chamar um humano de amigo, Geek continuou a fazer alguns trabalhos a mando dos piratas da Big Mom até encontrar Mai, onde ele se sentiu em casa, e quis se tornar o tritão mais forte e conquistar novos objetivos ao lado dos piratas Blueberry, podendo mostrar ao mundo que um tritão pode chamar um humano de amigo.
