I was looking through some old sketch books for space to do some new sketches, and found this sketch that I remember doing approximately 4 years ago back in school: [link]
I scanned the sketch in and began to outline and colour it in photoshop with paintbrush and a fair few layers, and then finally some quick burn/dodge strokes here and there. I'm not really an expert when it comes to using photoshop for things like this, but I think it turned out alright in the end. Oh, and I know how the japanese like their exploding-red-sun-ray thingos, so I chucked on of those in the background via some random polygon lassoo-ing and paintbucket-ing for good measure . Enjoy!
