On the suggestion page of another artwork, I glance at a photo of waves, I hover over it, hold my breath - for what I've been waiting for my entire life, and find to my utter astonishment that it's not a photo at all, but in Traditional art.
This is beyond incredible.
I - ever since I saw the artwork of painted crashing waves on my 'Voyage of the Dawntreadder' book by C.S. Lewis when I was little, have been searching and searching for traditional art that exists to match it, I've wanted to create it myself but never known completely how. I am utterly transfixed by your command of these waves that have sprung to life beneath your brush and expertise.
This is incredibly inspiring.

Wow, this reminds me of the North Sea on a stormy day. The brownish colour in the waves fits perfectly for a shallow sea containing a lot of suspended matter. I really like your painting, it is so vivid, so realistic. Great
