Okay, a note to anyone who visits me on DeviantArt:

I recently deleted one of my deviations of sketches I made and colored while I was reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. A mature content tag was put on it by the staff after they were notified by someone else on the website that it needed it--I was not notified at all of any of this prior to the note I recieved today that a tag had been added.

In the future if you think that something needs a maturity warning for whatever reason, I would rather you note me directly and politely ask for it to be done with your reason explained (ex: That nude Lilith you drew is offensive to me please mature tag this, thank you).

I'm not a mean person, I'm not super defensive; I understand reasons for having mature tags, and if you have a problem with something, as long as you're respectful when requesting it, then I don't mind putting warnings on my work. However, I'd rather do it myself than have a website staff regulate what on my page is or is not put under wraps.

Please consider this in the future.
