Description
Here we have Skip the squirrel and Cal the cardinal. These two characters frequently appear in both the editorial cartoons by me in St. John Fisher College's Cardinal Courier and in their own namesake comic strip in the same publication. They both originated in separate editorial cartoons.

Skip is a mischief maker. He, as one of the many many squirrels who populate the Fisher campus, is infamous for dropping nuts on the heads of passerby -- often simply to amuse himself!

Cal, representing the school as its mascot bird, the cardinal, is more level-headed than his squirrel friend. He outwardly frowns upon Skip's antics, but secretly finds amusement in them. He is rumored to have connections to the school's administration, especially President Bain.

If you want to see more of Skip and Cal, you can search for them on cardinalcourieronline.com, or by looking in the paper itself, which is published every two weeks and distributed on campus for free. Just watch out for falling nuts!
