Description
Wepwawet was the Egyptian God of war, Funerary Rituals and Upper Egypt. He was integral in the “Opening the Mouth” Ceremony and then he would help the deceased get to the Duat. Later on Wepwawet was absorbed by the god Anubis, as they share very similar functions in the process of mummification.
