A week ago, Nick Fury sent a signal to an unknown superhero to come and save Earth from Wanda Maximoff. This superhero was Captain Marvel.

Carol Danvers left Earth almost 30 years ago. She was not longer a regular human being, neither a superhero, she was beyond that.

Captain Marvel's main power is energy absorption, it took her some years to learn how to use this power effectively, but when she learned, she became unstoppable. Carol used this ability to absorb attacks, the power of her enemies and powerful artifacts such as the infinity stones.

Her first great feat was to kill a celestial. In 1998, when she finally found a new planet for the Skrulls, an emergence began. A Celestial was born, causing the planet to be destroyed. Carol was upset because it took her 3 years to find a suitable planet for the Skrulls and now it was gone. Carol didn't think twice and using her indestructible body she flew at the speed of light directly at the head of the Celestial, decapitating him. She absorbed all the cosmic energy from the dead body and become as powerful as a Celestial. The head of the dead Celestial would later be known as Knowhere.

She had many more adventures that make her the woman she is now. One of them being the time she absorbed the power of the 6 infinity stones.

It all started when she defended a planet from the invasion of an alien called Thanos. After he was defeated he explained to her that he was looking for the infinity stones. Six powerful objects created by the Big Bang that would allow him to reduced half the population of the universe. She thought he was mad and killed him, but she knew Thanos would not be the only one looking for godlike power, what if it was someone worse the next time. She had to be the one that find and use the stones. Before he died, Thanos had in possession the mind stone, Carol took it from him, now she needed to find only 5 more.

In her quest she discovered that 2 of the infinity stones were on Earth. The space stone that she gave to SHIELD in 1995 and the time stone in possession of the Ancient One. The space stone was easy to get, she just asked Fury to gave it to her. However, the Ancient One was not so easy to convince. Carol had no other option than kill her. Carol now had 3 stones and the powers of the Sorcerer Supreme. The power stone she found it in the planet Morag. To get the Soul Stone she visited Vormir and was told that she needed to sacrifice the thing she loved most. Carol knew that was bullshit and killed the stone keeper, obtaining the soul stone. The reality stone was the last one and it took her many years to finally get. During an event known as the Convergence, Carol was able to absorb the Aether, that was non other than the reality stone. With the 6 stones in her possession, Carol destroyed them and absorbed their power.

She was now, by a large margin, the most powerful being in the universe. Even cosmic entities respected her and didn't try to get in her way. Same as Wanda, Carol liked being big, though she was on a different level. Carol had no limits, she could grow so big that galaxies would become nothing compared to her.

The reason Carol didn't come fast to Earth was because she was busy in an intergalactic war. She didn't fight, she was there to judge. She would decided which races deserved to live and which not. With her own hands she crushed planets ending billions of lives. Maybe she was tough, but for her it was the way peace could be achieved.

When everything was over she flew to Earth, where Wanda was waiting for her. Both were confident and incredible powerful, but only one would be the last woman standing.
