Just Shadow really. A quote from Shadow the Hedgehog: Sonic says "Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead using those things".
I think it was so they could reach wider audiences like 18 year olds and stuff because of the guns. Even though Sonic would never use a gun (in the games anyway) he is seen using a sword.
The Zone cop Zonic is seen using a gun. I don't know much about him though.
