This movie is mainly about friendship and how friends are important to our growth and learning. Even after not traveling together for so long, Ash, Misty and Brock cross paths again and come together on a short journey to solve a great mystery involving several Trainers around the Kanto region. In this mission, Ash and his friends meet many Trainers they have met in the past such as Gisselle, Chopper and Tyra, Melvin, Lara, Damian, Katrina and Mikey. Initially, this adventure will aim to solve this mysterious dilemma, but furthermore, it will serve to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Ash, Misty and Brock. This movie is set between the end of "Sun & Moon" and the start of "New series".

It's cliché, yes. But I think it would be cool! ^_^

The Japanese sentence on the side of the poster is taken from the song of the very first Japanese opening of the anime and means "A friend today is also a friend tomorrow".
