"Nope. Why should I be scared of you? Because you're huge?" I asked her, trying to be careful of what I say.

"That's going to be hard, considering how I'm not afraid of you. So, do you want me to keep you company? I'd hate to see someone be sad."

"Nope. I'd only be scared of a giant if he or she hated humans and wanted to kill them. Other than that, I'm not scared at all."

"That's good. Anything I can do to help out? Keep you company, make you happy. Anything at all?" I asked her, trying to be nice. I mean, I'm normally nice, but she might be suspicious of me.

She sniffled again, but smiled. "Company would be nice." She knelt down and held her hand out to you.

I climbed onto her hand, smiling. "Then I'll keep you company as long as you like." I was glad that she was smiling.

"Thank you," she smiled. "Would you like something to eat? The climb up the beanstalk must have been tiring."

"Oh," I said, smiling. "Yes please. I haven't eaten anything yet." My stomach growled in response.

SHe smiled and scooped you into her hand and carried you to the kitchen. "What do you humans like to eat?"

I sat in her hand, gazing around as she walked. "We like to eat meat, bread, vegetables, and sweets. As for drinks, it kind of depends." I told her.

"You like potatoes?" she asked. "I make a mean potato soup. Veggies and cheese and all sorts of stuff."

"Yeah, I like potatoes. That sounds really really good. Can I try some please?" I asked her, looking annoyed my stomach growled a bit louder because of the thought of potato soup.

She giggled and started making the soup. "No problem, new friend."

I sat on the counter and watched her make the soup. She was really nice. I hoped that I wouldn't annoy her or anything.

She made sure to avoid hurting you during making the food. She didn't want you to leave because she wanted you close to her.

"Why don't you find a place to put me where I'm close to you, but I won't get hurt? That way, you won't have to worry about it." I suggested, noticing her cautious movements.

"No, it's fine, I'm always cautious," she said.

She was faster but still careful and finished in no time.

"Come now, don't fall asleep before you've had a taste of this warm delicious soup," she chuckled, poking you with one finger.

"I'll try my best." I chuckled, poking her finger with my elbow. I smiled.

She got out a tiny bowl for you and a normal sized one for her. "Eat up."

"Okay. Thanks." I smiled at her before eating a bit of the soup. It tasted heavenly! It was so good!

"Like it? I love it! This soup is so good!" I said, continuing to eat it.

"I'm glad you love it," she laughed.

After five minutes, I had finished the soup. I was full, grinning. "That was so good."

"Got room for dessert?" Marie asked.

"I might have a bit of room. What is the dessert?"

"You like pie?" she smiled.

I smiled as well. "Yeah. It depends sometimes, but I like pie."

"That sounds so good! Can I have some please?" I asked, grinning. I absolutely loved chocolate pie.

I began to eat the piece of chocolate pie. It tasted really good.

I smiled back, finishing the slice of cake off. She was an amazing cook!
