But could you blame me? given that the game has elements of Ducktales, Wario Land and Castlevania,I could only assume a "Sparkling Area" would be a secret area in a Hidden area.
(totally didn't expect it to be a fishing zone)
I mean Zelda 2 required you to fall into a pit to continue the great temple, Ducktales 2 had the ship level where you jumped off the sail of the ship for a power up and castlevania had a blind spot where you could spawn treasure, and Wario Land 4 with odd colored background to indicate something.
|3 this game was made for the fans of those games and to troll those people who played them. Really, Level one does teach the player that "This ain't no mario game".

Also, This dude "Shovel Knight" has Armor but dies in one hit from a spike but a 80 year old duck in a top hat can survive touching spikes, how's that work?
Ah well, I'm like 2 levels from the final level.
