Part 3/24 of my NES Hidden Gems project.

So yeah, moving on with these, it's easier since I went with the one longer project instead of 2 simultaneous ones... even though I'm still missing a few parts of the last ones...
OK, back to the point, the overlooked NES gem for today is Vice: Project Doom .
How did THIS game get so overlooked, I sincerely have no idea... I mean, just look at it, it has a very "cinematic" feel, with the Ninja Gaiden'ish cutscenes, it has some prime quality platforming action with some very nice conrols, some really great graphics that could be achieved on the NES, a really awesome soundtrack, and like most good NES games, a fair challenge difficulty-wise.
Hhe, whichever the case, Vice was a great title that every NES enthusiast should definitely check out. For starters, we have the story, like I said, the game has a very cinematic feel, partially because of the NG'ish cutscenes, and partially because of the very well written story, which doesn't give us all the facts outright, but rather teases us and has us follow the plot as we play. So we take on the role of Detective Quinn Heart in his search quest, his battle against crime, his search for his missing partner, and an epic quest against a powerful corporation. Armed with his handgun and a trusty laser whip (it may look like a sword due to it's animation, but it is actually a laser whip), and a few grenades just in case, Detective Hart is one guy you certainly don't wanna cross.
