I'm working on SGC-6 (sixth episode in the Shrieking Gun Cafe serial) - rewrote the beginning of it today, reformatted it, and it's about 13k words. Just have to edit and revise and edit again before publishing. :> Excited to have a new episode to publish after a year since the last.

Vance Oranshi is a half-elf, (Henuli elf/the magicborn elf race in my world and half human, a descendant from the dying planet Levadyn)

He's a former military weapons engineer, specializing in the magic portion of designing and testing weapons and armor. He was dishonorably discharged after being framed for an incident, and fortunately found not guilty - but as magicborn are regulated under tight thumb, he is banned from off-world traveling or leaving District 13, and any new tech he wants to work on or make has to be approved by the agency overseeing his probation.
